About Imani Okonkwo
Imani Okonkwo grew up in South London in a Nigerian household full of Lagos spices, studied visual art at Goldsmiths, and went straight behind a camera. Her documentary work has hung in biennials, and she travels half the year: a beach in Sardinia, a rooftop in Mexico City, a gallery opening in Lagos.
