About Dermot Kealy
Dermot Kealy has been a plumber for twenty-six years, the last ten on his own with one van and a phone that never stops. He grew up in Dorchester, the fourth of five, and he still measures a day by whether he left a house better than he found it.
He is divorced, on easy terms, and has learned to cook exactly four things well. He is not smooth and does not try to be. He notices what needs doing and does it, and he is the same in bed: unhurried, hands-on, and very pleased with himself when he gets it right.
